Hellllllloooo, it’s been forever and I’m not going to bore you with any long talk or excuse except the fact that I stopped seeing this newsletter as something I enjoyed doing. It became a chore. I just wanted to update for updating purposes. I’m in a better headspace now, and I hope it keeps getting better. I declare that I love you and I’m grateful to have you in my life, reading my newsletters.
A lot has happened over the last few months. We are already in Q2 of 2022. It still feels surreal that we’ve been dealing with coronavirus for over two years. I’ve gone from worrying about the latest variant of COVID-19 to messaging and sending love to anyone I know who is caught in the Russian-Ukraine war.
We’ve spent a large chunk of the new year dealing with a lack of electricity, insecurity, and intense fuel scarcity that I've never seen before; it feels like there’s no hope for Nigeria. Topping the chart for all these miseries is the ASUU strike; the total indifference of the government is appalling, and the declarations here and there. LOL
Nigeria is a weird paradox. How times have changed.
For the rest of your week, I hope that you never feel lonely and stuck and that all goes according to plan. I hope that you remember to be kind and live large. I hope you discover all the things that excite you. I hope that you hold space for yourself . I hope that you find someone you speaks your language and i hope that you feel comfortable to wait a little longer for things that you want.
All my love, Omobolaji❤️. Talk soon.
Talk soon dear.
I pray Nigeria get better.
Omg, babe same. It’s so difficult to keep posting.
